While Foals debut album was good the decision to not include this or Mathletics on it was a big mistake both singles surpassed a number of songs they did include and would have made for a much better record. ‘Hummer’ with its rhymic cowbelling rumba of a sound was something fresh at the time and really broke the band big. B-side ‘Astronauts And All’ shouldn’t have made the album because it’s an excellent b-side and should only be known by those who picked up this single, it’s arguably better than the main track with an even bigger melody running throughout.
